Als gebarentaalgids en verhalenverteller beschouwt Shahin Mohammad zichzelf als een intersectionele feministische activiste: vanuit die optiek vecht ze tegen racisme, seksisme, audisme en sociale discriminatie, "voor echte gelijkheid". Het is een constante strijd voor deze handifeministische, dekolonialistische, antiracistische en ecologische activiste die zich inzet voor een sterk politiek engagement.
Josefien Cornette is kunstenaar-schrijver. Josefien heeft een multidisciplinaire praktijk met een achtergrond in kunstgeschiedenis, feminisme, queer studies en disability studies. Josefien was redacteur bij rekto:verso, waar die mee het nummer CRIP coördineerde, werkt samen Engagement Arts en bouwt mee aan een grass roots beweging van crip kunstenaars in België. Vandaag focust Josefien zich op narrativiteit en getuigenissen als kunstobject. In 2021 won Josefien de DiverGent Scriptieprijs met ‘A House Called Pain’, een poëtische auto-etnografie over dood, rouw en beperking, die binnenkort verschijnt als roman.
Nadia Kara werd geboren in Luik en groeide op met een Algerijnse vader en een Duits-Belgische moeder omringd door een mix van culturen en invloeden. Na haar studie Media en Communicatie verhuisde ze naar Vlaanderen, waar ze nieuwe perspectieven kreeg op de dynamieken van haar thuisland. Nadia vindt het belangrijk zichzelf voortdurend in vraag te stellen en bij te scholen. Ze werkt momenteel als schrijver, podcastmaker en presentator. Haar favoriete onderwerpen zijn geestelijke gezondheid, feminisme, diversiteit en duurzaamheid.
