Are we there yet?
Hazy bass, a bit of hardstyle and gabber
Dear Beursschouwpeople, In the shimmering twilight between the shortest days and darkest nights of the year, the December program awaits your warmest breath. Jota Mombaça invites you for hazy bass at the end of the world. Lisa Vereertbrugghen finds peace on the restless sounds of jungle, drum'n'bass, a little hardstyle and gabber. And our associate artist Vica Pacheco creates a sonic environment in formation with sound sculptures. Come listen and vibe with us. Together, we'll get there. Hugs, kisses and a lotta love, Your B.

What People Say
On the building’s awning our name is spelt in various different ways: beurshowbrug, bourscaubirg, etc. Seven different spellings, but which is the ‘right’ one? Who was it who took it upon themselves to liberate Beursschouwburg from the shackles of official spelling? — What People Say, David Helbich (b. 1973), 2012, Facade signage, plexi glass & ferrite magnets
