about

A social and community restaurant from Molenbeek that focuses on connecting diverse communities and strengthening the neighbourhood. Together we're building a warm meeting place in the heart of the city – an open, accessible moment of collective celebration, with cultural experience and social connection at its heart.

Adler Murada and Caio Jacques transform the fountain in front of the Beursschouwburg into a water-mirrored reality, where oases of relaxation are possible right in the heart of the city. As a place situated above the Zenne River, which flows underground beneath a layer of concrete, it serves as a reflection of a real past that could spill over into a utopian future. The installation brings plants, animals, and other organisms back to the city center and invites visitors to actively engage with the space through various entry points, seating areas, games, interactive activities, and workshop stations. Together, they bring back to the surface what the city buried. Nature reclaims the city.
Caio Jacques is a German-Brazilian arts and cultural producer, working between Brussels and Hamburg. As co-founder and board member of the artistic platform fluens he organizes intergenerational and cross-cultural artistic formats, facing ecological and social questions through creative and educational programs, such as the twice awarded arts and research festival KLIMASTRÖME in Hamburg, Germany.
Adler Murada is a Brazilian artist and socio-cultural worker based at Level Five in Brussels. His multidisciplinary practice spans installation, text, film, and participatory projects, reading ecological and political struggles alongside collective memory to uncover subaltern histories that official narratives tend to smooth over.
Déchaîné.es
Founded in 2019, Déchainé.es is an independent feminist collective based in Brussels that uses cycling as a means of bringing people together, promoting empowerment and combating sexist and patriarchal violence. We organise bike rides in public spaces and participatory workshops in chosen mixity, for anyone whose gender expression forms a barrier to learning bike mechanics.
