The Living Library’ is a context for genuine encounter and conversation. The idea of the library is a ‘collection’ of people that are available to engage into a conversation with whom ever desires it. It works just like a library: visitors can choose the book they want to read, and borrow it for a limited period of time. After reading, they return the book to the library and, if they want, borrow another. The only difference is that in the Living Library, books are people, and reading consists of a conversation. You are invited and have a conversation around a specific topic these “living books” are specialized in, or just engage in an open conversation.
