Hantrax is the solo project of the electronic composer, performer and pianist Han Swolfs. He knew from a young age that he wanted to live a life of music. He studied jazz piano at the prestigious Antwerp Jazz Studio and classical piano under Dorothea Haers. Swolfs has been part of various different musical projects, from large classical orchestras to small experimental bands. Both his piano music and his harder electronic work have been released on vinyl on labels such as Ekster, palermo records, Jack Playmobile and Jheri tracks. Since 2015 he has focused on Hantrax, bringing together his rich background in classical music and his gabber-love for hard, electronic music. The result is futuristic electro(nica) loved by connoisseurs and barbarians alike.
