Our dreams have been stolen from us. Our city has been stolen from us. Our music, our voices, our theatres and our cafés have been stolen from us. Just like all the other places where we meet and share moments together. And so, we are going to take it all back. With joy, anger, love, poetry and absurdity.

"We want to reclaim the city, to free it from the market and flood it with our dreams. TransfoCollect and Zinneke, together with other complicit artists, are ready to take over Brussels city centre with sounds, words, bodies, colours, smells and flavours. Through music, installations, rituals, dances, songs, actions, poems, maiden speeches, lotteries and children’s games, the square will be taken over by all those who cannot find their place in everyday life.

A three-day whirlwind of activity culminating in the Zinneke Parade. The parade’s finale will be a performative culmination of the work TransfoCollect has developed over the past year with Zinneke: a festive lottery of dreams, through the Congolese-Neapolitan Smorfia. It will all end, finally, with a concert by the Brussels Prophetic Street Orchestra, like a joyful and subversive collective musical exorcism of the city centre.

Welcome, guests and parasites, losers and winners, outcasts and dreamers, criminals and decent people, masters and servants, beasts and saints. Come and join a feast of the people, and dream together of the city we want."
