Inspired by her cultural heritage, Banga creates a unique electronic sound. Her music covers a wide range of Afro-diasporic rhythms, which she learnt both on the streets and in the clubs of her teenage years in Luanda. Under her previous stage name Petit Piment, she pioneered Brazilian funk and Afro-house in Paris.
