Bâtard Festival
performance installation workshop
28 JAN — 1 FEB
Bâtard Festival will pour the work of emerging artists through the Beursschouwburg’s cracks. During five days, artists from all over will invite you to open up to new ideas and experiences that will challenge the way we look at things, and in particular, art and its role in society. This year’s edition, From Solids to Liquids, attempts to address the current relationship between the cultural institutions and the art emerging from other contexts. The possible liquidity of artistic practices are more than ready to emerge, however the great diversity of formats is often reduced to the most recognizable ones to ensure a certain solidity in an ever-changing field.
