Samowar is het solo electronicaproject van Leen Diependaele. Met enkel stem en subtiele beats worden haar songs via een loopstation laagje per laagje opgebouwd. Het resultaat is op zijn minst een authentiek geluid, soms kwetsbaar en lichtjes experimenteel.
Dit bleef niet onopgemerkt: Samowar schopte het tot in de finale van Humo’s Rock Rally 2014, was laureaat Theater Aan Zee 2013, tweede FrappantPop 2011,... En daar kan ze nu dus ook het dakterras van Beursschouwburg aan toevoegen!
