Je bevindt je aan boord van een cargoschip op een eindeloze zee. Deze uitgestrekte leegte in tijd en ruimte is iets waar elke schipper op zijn eigen manier mee omgaat. Verbeelding doemt op vanonder de zeespiegel en neemt geleidelijk het roer over… elephantfish lokt de kijker mee in een afgesloten omgeving, bewaakt door de vrijheid van de eeuwige horizon. De enige uitweg ligt in gedachten en dromen.
