Artisjok Records is excited to celebrate the release of Save Some, the debut EP from Nowhere People, a brand-new project initiated by producer Mishulino that brings together musicians from Tbilisi, Amsterdam and beyond. At its core are piano virtuosos Beka Gochiashvili aka Bjazz11 (who’s played with legends like Chick Corea or Herbie Hancock) and Luka Tuporia (rising star in the jazz and funk scene), joined by a fluid series of musicians on the record and during live shows. Tonight none other than powerhouse drummer Funkmasterway (known for his work with MonoNeon and Ghost-Note) and a thus far mysterious bass player will bring to life the spirit of Nowhere People, moving effortlessly from fusion to hyperjazz to the cosmos and its flipsides.
