Our roof terrace belongs to everyone (so to speak). That is why we invite some organisations, labels and related houses we have struck up friendly relations with, to help us find the right musical notes for a balmy June evening.

The Brussels concert guru Mad About Music kicks off the fun, followed by the art centres Eden (Charleroi), Vooruit (Gent), STUK (Leuven – joining forces with the Berlin CTM for the occasion), the French label Alpage Records (Lille), Incubate Festival (Tilburg), with the West Flemish concert temple De Kreun (Kortrijk) bringing up the rear. This mixed bag will guarantee that either you discover new bands or that you can see your all-time favourites live.

Aaah, I’m already getting that summer feeling again.

Mad About Music Night: Empty Taxi + Princess Chelsea + DJ VingtCent

Mad about Music organises concerts in Belgium, especially of the alternative and underground type, ranging from rock, post-punk, metal right through to electronic music.

Eden Night: Haring + Holy Strays+ DJ Rick Shiver

You could say that Eden is related to Beursschouwburg in that it combines theatre, concerts, exhibitions, debates and pints of beer into an attractive mix. According to their website: Eden, Charleroi, le Paradis c'est ici! The only difference? It is located in the heavenly metropolis Charleroi. Eden brings with it two bands that operate under the umbrella of the Morning Ritual.

Alpage Records Night: Prieur de la Marne + Ext’inT + Black Bones

We invite the wacky Alpage Records to organise an Out Loud! Evening entirely to their liking and according to their customs. This northern French label brings a handful of ‘poulains’ and throws a party celebrated daily in Lille.

Orchestre Du Mont-Plaisant + Mocambo + DJ SebCat

Normaal zou Zun Zun Egui deze avond spelen. Door onverwachte omstandigheden hebben we deze band moeten vervangen door Orchestre Du Mont-Plaisant + Mocambo. COOLNESS GALORE!

STUK: Numen + Berlin Current Feat. Soda Plains, Amnesia Scanner, Lotic

Leuven (STUK) takes Berlin (CTM) by the hand and together, they travel to Brussels. All roads lead to Beursschouwburg, that’s for sure. Head up to the roof terrace and make yourselves at home there.

Incubate Night: Angstgegner + Nervous Mothers + Sex Drive + Mind Rays + GALG + Cocaine Piss + Ggu:ll + Daggers + DJ In Dogs We Trust

Incubate Festival in Tilburg is the annual highlight for cutting-edge indie cultuur: music, visual arts, film, contemporary dance or reflection – you’ll find it all there. On our roof terrace, we have programmed the somewhat louder Belgian and Dutch genres. Hypnotic doom and noisy punk are the by-words that should lure you in your droves.

De Kreun: Isaac + Beak> + DJ Helter Skelter

De Kreun would not be De Kreun, if they did not move Kortrijk residents to Brussels! The first band of the evening, a.k.a. Isaac, can be summed up as Kortrijk drones and soundscapes, brought together by Pol Isaac (Usain Bolt Records). We welcome another group from Bristol (just like Zun Zun Egui, scheduled by Vooruit on our roof terrace on 13 June). The West Flemish De Kreun know how to grab the bull by the horns and get Beak> to Brussels.
