Reading group on Courtesane Poetry with Goda Palekaitė

Departing from embroidered courtesan poems in Palekaitė's fictional bedroom, we will dwell on the words of three artists, writers and sex workers, reaching us from different historical moments: Veronica Franco (1546-1591), Grisélidis Réal (1929-2005) and Virginie Despentes (b. 1969).

The artist will guide the conversation and propose a mode of speculative reasoning, weaving through the history of misogyny.
