Top selector Lakuti, aka Lerato Kathi, grew up in Soweto, South Africa. There she absorbed her love for music from the very start: funk and soul from her mother, jazz from her granddad. The first generation of Chicago house recordings made a great impression on Lakuti, and you can still hear that today in her record choices. In the Zilveren Zaal, she will mix classic house and upbeat disco as no one else can.
We will be warming up with Marnie: girl power with a Brussels hip-hop sauce. Paradise Garage, here we come!
