MADE IN BRUSSELS POP-UP GALLERY - Call for entries

open call
25 OCT — 6 NOV 2016

In december 2016, workspacebrussels, Beursschouwburg, Halles St-Géry and Brussels Major Events will host MADE IN BRUSSELS, a creative pop-up gallery with affordable artworks, editions and designs by over 30 Brussels based artists. In collaboration with the local art schools and students, emerging talent and renowned artists, the project will aim to give to a broad audience a taste of the incredible creative climate in Brussels.

Hosted by Les Halles St.-Géry, MADE IN BRUSSELS will be an alternative new part of Plaisirs D’Hivers (the Brussels Christmas market), offering 1,5 million visitors a chance to discover the Brussels sceÌ€ne and a selection of high-quality artworks. As such, MADE IN BRUSSELS will not only be a creative, content based alternative for the more commercial activities in that time of the year, but also a collective experiment with self-organization.

In order to offer the widest possible overview of Brussels creativity, MADE IN BRUSSELS is now looking for proposals for artworks that could be presented in the pop-up gallery.
