Bad ideas, ugly feelings and guilty pleasures are performed together.

Ne Mosquito Pas is a performance platform founded in 2019. Artists from diverse backgrounds create short solo performances based on their failed ideas, deleted scenes and bad taste. Until now Ne mosquito pas functioned exclusively as a solo platform. After several periods of creation of new solos, it’s now time to make a group performance with a large number of artists under the coordination of Micha Goldberg and Rosie Sommers.

With German Staatstheater the group wants to highlight creation, performance and play in a different way. Bad ideas, ugly feelings and guilty pleasures are performed together. What if an artist community performs a magnified theatricality that reminds you of great ensembles of the past? “German Staatstheater" functions as a landscape, a background or a style starting from what American cultural theorist Sianne Ngai describes as 'ugly feelings'. You are invited for a first sharing of the research.

Language: Hochdeutsch mit Variationen

This show contains vaping, nudity, and references to abuse and death.

Rosie Sommers and Micha Goldberg are coordinating rehearsals and want to further explore for themselves what it means to be a host on stage. This is something Rosie has developed before within projects like Tantra for Beginners (2021), Skypesamba (2016), Bingo Night's with Rosie (2021), Concert nights with Rosie (2022) and Micha with Micha's amateur theatre for professionals' (2016-ongoing), and session's in my croc (2022).
