Jungle, drum-'n-bass, un peu de hardstyle et de gabber.
DISQUIET recherche la perturbation et la dystopie en tant qu'éléments inhérents aux sous-genres de la techno hardcore tels que le gabber, hardstyle, jungle et drum-'n-bass. Le techno hardcore se caractérise par une basse et une batterie intensives, une vitesse minimale de 160 bpm et une perturbation du flux. DISQUIET se concentre sur ces sursauts, pauses et perturbations sonores et étudie comment ils peuvent stimuler un corps. La danse hardcore est présentée comme une possibilité de rupture avec les structures et une recherche d'un ailleurs qui est disquiet.

Lisa Vereertbrugghen (b. 1986) is a dancer, choreographer and researcher based in Brussels. Since 2014 she has been researching hardcore techno dance styles trough various formats: performances, lecture-performances, performance-installations and publications. Her work has been shown in: MDT (Stockholm), Oktoberdans (BIT, Bergen), Playground Festival (STUK, Leuven), BUDA (Kortrijk), Bâtard festival (Brussels and Amsterdam), CA2M (Madrid), Showroom MAMA (Rotterdam), CAMPO (Gent), Rencontres Chorégraphiques (Paris) and others.
