Under the name SVDU, associate multidisciplinary artist Loucka Fiagan presents a new EP, on which his spoken word practice links to various musical genres. His lo-fi productions sound like Moor Mother and Kae Tempest, at times like Arctic Monkeys or MGMT. SVDU begins his live set solo in an intimate yet rowdy, experimental atmosphere where hip-hop predominates. Gradually, he is joined by a live band while the ensemble evolves towards more harmonious and melodic sounds.
