Céline Gillain is a musician, video and performance artist living in Brussels, and currently artist in residence in Beursschouwburg. Her work is a hybrid of corrupted pop songs, feminist sci-fi, storytelling and dark humor. After a debut single on mutant pop 7-inch imprint Lexi Disques, her debut LP ‘Bad Woman’ was released on Drama, a sub-label of Zaltan's Antinote Records.

Her performance 'What is this place' aims to explore the political potential of a room - a strong public space creating a sense of community - and how these kinds of places are being threatened by conservative governments today.
